Brian Cavanaugh, MBA
Co-Founder & PartnerBrian spent fourteen years at JP Morgan and BT Alex Brown as a fixed income trader, capital markets specialist, and investment banker — working at the institutional level where large corporate transactions get structured and priced. He knows how sophisticated buyers build their offers and where sellers typically leave value on the table.
He founded Cavanaugh Partners in 2014 to put that expertise exclusively in the corner of veterinary practice sellers. Every client transaction set a new high-water mark for veterinary valuation — a track record that became the foundation for VetValue Connect.
Carson Taylor, MBA
Co-Founder & PartnerCarson spent eight years advising on healthcare mergers and financings at RBC Capital Markets — including the sale of CAPNA to VCA in 2016. He has sat on the advisory side of the table for the kinds of transactions that corporate buyers run every day. That experience is what he brings to independent sellers who are navigating that process for the first and only time.
